Sometimes one needs to be pretty nosy to find scenes like this. I found this mailbox in this cemetery behind a church on a little-used road in Adams County, Ohio.
With the advent of digital photography, an image like this would be easy to produce. But this scene really existed as you see it, and doesn't that make it more fun?
By the way, this cemetery is associated with the first Methodist church in Ohio and the Northwest Territory. It was founded in 1795 or 1796 and the original building was erected in 1800. It's located near the town of Blue Creek and is known as Moore's Chapel United Methodist Church.
