Greeting Card Project: Tri-color Butterflies
What you need
- card stock - bronze metallic - 8 1/2" x 7 1/4" folded to make a 4 1/4" x 7 1/4" card blank
- butterfly rubber stamp (credit Stampin' Up)
- embossing ink - tri-color, black
- ribbon and yarn
- heat gun
- paper trimmer (optional)
How to do it
Step 1
Use the butterfly stamp to stamp and tri-color ink to make two images.
Step 2
Use the black ink to make the images at the right edge of the card.
Step 3
You will probably need to set the ink with the heat gun because the ink won't dry on the metallic card without heat setting it. If the heat warps the card, put the card under a weight a few hours or overnight.
Step 4
Tie on the ribbon and yarn.
