Greeting Card Project: Bugs and Vines

What you need

• card stock - tan, speckled - 9" x 5 1/2" folded in half to make a 4 1/2" x 5 1/2" card blank
• card stock - purple metallic - approx. 2" x 3 1/2"
• leaf rubber stamp
• vines background rubber stamp (credit Penny Black)
• various bugs rubber stamps (credit Stampin' Up)
• embossing ink - gold, light green, pink, black
• paper trimmer (optional)

How to do it

Step 1

Using the vine background stamp, apply gold ink to the entire front of the card blank.

Step 2

Stamp your bugs in various colors. In this project, we used a light green grasshopper, a pink beetle, and a lavender bee (what, you've never seen a lavender bee?).

Step 3

Stamp onto the purple metallic card the grasshopper in light green, the bee in gold, and the beetle in pink. Add black to each one to give it more definition. Glue to the card front as shown.
