Greeting Card Project: Leaf, Vines, and Bugs

What you need

• card stock - tan, speckled - 9" x 5 1/2" folded in half to make a 4 1/2" x 5 1/2" card blank
• card stock - tan, speckled - approx. 2 1/2" x 3 1/2", torn
• leaf rubber stamp
• vines background rubber stamp (credit Penny Black)
• various bugs rubber stamps
• embossing ink - gold, light green, pink, lavender
• paper trimmer (optional)

How to do it

Step 1

Using the vine background stamp, apply gold ink to the entire front of the card blank.

Step 2

Stamp your bugs in various colors. In this project, we used a light green grasshopper, a pink beetle (what, you've never seen a pink beetle?), and a lavender bee.

Step 3

Stamp the leaf in light green ink and glue to the card front as shown in the photo at the top of this page.
