Greeting Card Project: A Butterfly's Habitat
What you need
- card stock - tan, speckled - 9" x 5 1/2" folded in half to make a 4 1/2" x 5 1/2" card blank
- butterfly rubber stamp (credit Stampin' Up)
- vines background rubber stamp (credit Penny Black)
- various bugs rubber stamps
- embossing ink - black, gold, light green, pink, lavender
- ribbon
- paper trimmer (optional)
How to do it
Step 1
Using the vine background stamp, apply gold ink to the entire front of the card blank.
Step 2
Stamp your bugs in various colors. In this project, we used a light green grasshopper, a pink beetle (what, you've never seen a pink beetle?), and a lavender bee.
Step 3
Stamp the butterfly using black ink.
Step 4
Tie the ribbon on the card as shown in the photo at the top of this page.
