What you need
- card stock - buff - 9 1/2" x 6 1/4" folded in half to make a 4 3/4" x 6 1/4" card blank
- mulberry paper - copper - 9 1/2" x 6 1/4"
- card stock - bronze metallic - 3" x 4"
- origami bird
- bottle cap
- hammer
- glue
- glue stick
- ink or paint, gold
- small paint brush
- yarn or raffia
- paper trimmer (optional)
How to do it
Step 1
Apply the glue stick to the outside of the card blank in order to adhere the mulberry paper to it. You may want to trim the edges if the card blank and mulberry paper didn't line up after gluing.
Step 2
Use the glue stick to attach the bronze metallic piece on the front.
Step 3
Use the hammer to smash the bottle cap flat. Use the gold ink or paint to make a ring or color on the liner of the bottle cap. Glue to the card front as shown in the photo at the top of this page.
Step 4
Glue the origami bird to the card front as shown in the photo at the top of this page.
Step 5
Tie the yarn or raffia on the card as shown in the photo at the top of this page.
