Greeting Card Project: Simple Thank You Card
What you need
- card stock - dark blue - 8 1/2" x 4" folded to make a 4 1/4" x 4" card blank
- photo
- printed verse and message
- stick-on hearts and stars
- glue
- decorative scissors
- paper trimmer (optional)
Just because this one is simple doesn't mean it won't be appreciated. It's a great project for when you have a whole bunch to send out at once.
How to do it
Step 1
Print out a suitable verse or quotation. Go here for bunches of quotations you can use. This example from Khalil Gibran says "Our friends are our needs answered. They are our field which we sow with love and reap with thanksgiving." Trim the sides with decorative scissors and glue to the card front as shown in the photo above.
Step 2
(See photo below) Print a photo of yourself, trim with decorative scissors, and glue to the left inside of the card. Next, print a personal message, trim with decorative scissors, and glue to the right inside of the card. Finish up with the stick-on stars and hearts.
