Greeting Card Project: Peace Dove

What you need

• card stock - tan speckled - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" folded to make a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" card blank
• card stock - white - 4" x 4"
• mulberry paper - dark green - 4 3/4" x 3 1/2"
• ink pad - gold
• cork
• glue
• craft knife
• scissors
• paper trimmer (optional)

How to do it

Step 1

Click here to go to the dove template and print it. Cut out an appropriate dove and use the cut-out as a template to trace around on the white card. Then cut the dove out of the white card. You may want to try using a craft knife on some of the tighter curves.

Step 2

Apply ink to the cork and stamp the cork randomly onto the dove cut-out.

Step 3

Glue the mulberry paper onto the center of the card blank. Glue the dove on as shown in the photo at the top of the page.
