Greeting Card Project: Christmas Tree and Snow

What you need

  • card stock - dark blue metallic - 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" folded to make a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" card blank
  • card stock - tan or white - 4" x 5"
  • ink pad - green
  • embossing pen - clear
  • embossing powder - white
  • heat gun
  • cork
  • glue
  • scissors
  • paper trimmer (optional)

How to do it

Step 1

Click here to go to the Christmas tree template and print it. Cut it out and use the cut-out as a template to trace around on the tan or white card. Then cut that one out.

Step 2

Apply ink to the cork and stamp the cork randomly onto the Christmas tree cut-out. Glue the Christmas tree to the card blank as shown in the photo at the top of the page.

Step 3

Before continuing, make sure the green ink is dry. Using the clear embossing pen, randomly make dots on the blue card blank. Apply the white embossing powder and heat.
