Greeting Card Project: Twisted Ribbon Abstract with Dots
What you need
- card stock - white - 8½" x 5½" folded in half to make a 4¼" x 5½" card blank
- card stock - black metallic - 2 3/4" x 2 3/4"
- card stock - dark teal or green metallic - 1 1/2" x 3"
- card stock - dark blue metallic - 1 1/2" x 3"
- card stock - gold metallic - 1 1/2" x 3"
- hole punch
- scissors
- glue
- paper trimmer (optional)
How to do it
Step 1
Glue the 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" black card on to the card blank as shown. Notice that the black card is set slightly above center.
Step 2
Click here to go to the ribbon template and print it. The template is the same for both halves of the ribbon.
Step 3
Using a standard hole punch, punch the holes in each half of the ribbon as shown in the photo at the top of the page. From the gold card cut pieces just large enough to cover the punched holes and glue to the back side of each half of the ribbon. Glue the halves of the ribbon in place as shown in the photo at the top of the page. Punch two holes in another piece of gold card and glue those circles in place.
