I was on my first date with the woman who would later become my wife. I see this sign and hop out of the car and shoot it. After I get back in the car, I say to her, "What does it mean?" This comment impressed her, but I was not aware of it at the time.
I since have come to realize that it doesn't have to mean anything. Maybe it was meant to mean anything one wanted it to mean.
On the front is a quote by Mahatma Gandhi: "Absolute calm is not the law of the ocean. And it is the same with the ocean of life."
